Discount Policy:
10% – Sibling discount or multiple class discount (cannot be combined)
10% – 5 months registration
Payment Policy:
New Jersey Academy accepts Visa, MasterCard and Personal Check (postdated). Payment may be made online via the Parent Portal or directly in person. Students may continue to pay for the entire 20 week semester before the start of the semester or they can pay monthly. All payments must be made in advance. ALL PAYMENTS ARE FINAL. We will not reimburse nor credit for any schedule changes or cancellations made during the semester.
We now also offer a monthly payment plan. First and last month’s tuition must be paid before the start of the semester. The monthly fee will then be deducted the 1st of the month for the following three months.
Makeup class (email notification only) will be available but no refund for missed class.

Student Cancellation:
At New Jersey Academy, we understand that children’s schedules can be busy, and they need to occasionally miss a class. Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if your child will miss a class. Same day notice is no longer accepted, including private lessons. Students can make up to two classes before the end of the semester. Once a makeup class is scheduled, it is the responsibility of the student to attend the class. A missed makeup will result in the loss of that makeup. Once a semester ends, there is no carry over to a future session nor will credit be given for any missed or unused classes.
To be qualified for a makeup session, please follow the cancellation procedure below:
- All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
- Requests for makeups should be sent by email to dnewjerseyacademy@gmail.com.
Teacher Cancellation:
We also understand that sometimes even teachers need to occasionally miss a class! In this event, the teacher will schedule a new date/time for the missed class. If a student cannot make this class, we will then follow procedure for a student cancellation makeup.
Inclement Weather Closing Policy:
In the event of inclement weather, New Jersey Academy will follow the Englewood Cliffs Public School closing or early dismissal notices. We will reschedule all canceled classes.
Summer 2020 Semester: Monday, July 6 – Saturday, August 29 (8 weeks)
There is NO CLASS on Memorial Day, Monday May 25.
